Burdock Root

Burdock Root (Artium lappa)

Originally from Japan but now found worldwide, it has traditionally been used as an aid to facilitate urinary and digestive eliminatory functions. Hence, it may be used for minor urinary complaints such as cystitis.

Other Traditional Uses:
- Arthritis and gout
- Appetite stimulant
- Hair growth

Can cause allergic reactions and cross- sensitivity with other members of its family i.e. the Asteraceae/Compositae family such as ragweed, chrysanthemums, marigolds, daisies, and many other herbs (check with us if you are unsure).
