folic acid

Folic Acid, 400mcg Tablets (90)

Folic Acid is a B vitamin found in green vegetables (such as broccoli), yeast spreads and fortified cereals. Research shows that taking a Folic Acid supplement before you conceive and during early pregnancy can help to protect your unborn child from neural tube birth defects, such as Spina Bifida.**

It is recommended that you start taking Folic Acid as soon as you start planning to get pregnant, until the end of the third month of pregnancy. If you are already pregnant, start taking Folic Acid immediately and continue each day until the end of your twelfth week of pregnancy.

Dose: One Tablet Daily

Note: If you have a medical condition please contact us for advice as 400mcg may not be adequate for you.
